Cost advantage (Excellence in Quality and Value)
The Empyrean Group plans to provide its services at costs that are at or below those presently paid by the customers to other vendors for the same services. This will be done through maintenance of a lean overhead expense structure and provision of high quality resources. It is noted that high quality resources are more valuable and more productive, resulting in a reduced total cost to the client through efficiency and elimination of rework.

The Empyrean Group comprises of three principals (two owners and one individual who will provide major consultative support). These principals collectively bring to the management team over 37 years of progressive operating experience including 24 years at the executive level. This experience also includes successful launching of a new business through start-up to quick profitability.

In addition to the technical expertise, the management team brings extensive human resources experience and know- how including performance enhancement, cultural transformation, process improvement, staffing and recruitment, benefits administration, labor negotiations and all other aspects of human resources management. The skills and competencies of the team bring credibility to the Company and will ensure success in building business partnerships with clients and providing leadership to employees.

The following are brief executive overviews of each principal:

Sushil C. Jain
Sushil has over 25 years of progressive management and executive level experience. He is an energetic leader with demonstrated abilities in project management, functional assessment, performance enhancement, efficiency improvement and cultural transformation of large organizations of professionals. Sushil has managed large engineering organizations and complex engineering projects. He has experience in leading organizations of up to 600 professionals and bargaining unit employees with a budget of $70 million. Career focus has been on operational turnaround, culture change and effective management of internal and external interfaces, including regulatory bodies.

Sushil is currently President and Chief Executive Officer of The Empyrean Services, LLC, an executive management consulting company specializing in organization troubleshooting, team-building, management coaching and site-wide performance assessment.

Sushil also has been the Senior Vice President of the Nuclear Services Group for a major utility. Sushil has 24 years nuclear operating experience and has held several technical and managerial positions within the industry.

Sushil has a Master of Science in Nuclear Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and is a Registered Professional Engineer.

Sushil is the Chief Strategic Consultant and Senior Advisor for The Empyrean Group LLC.

Janice V. McGee
Jan has over 20 years of progressive management and executive level leadership experience within operations management and human resources. She is highly skilled at leading technical areas of business through empowering and developing employees. She is a seasoned human resources executive with 10 years experience including employee relations, performance management, recruitment, benefits administration, leadership development, succession planning, process/productivity improvements, technical skills training, compensation/incentive programs, safety, and workers compensation. In addition, she has 20 years experience in labor relations including the leadership role in contract negotiations.

Jan also has 12 years experience in operations including being distinguished as one of the first women in the United States to become a power plant manager, running the entire day-to-day operation of the largest (600 MW) coal-fired power plant in the utility’s fleet.

Jan has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and a Master of Arts Degree in Industrial Labor Relations and she is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh Management Program for Executives.

In addition Jan collaborated with the Center for Creative Leadership and was part of their research that studied the latest approaches to contemporary leadership. Center for Creative Leadership based their results on seven years of research on several hundred individual leaders and teams. The results were written up in a book titled, “The Leader’s Edge: Six Creative Competencies for Navigating Complex Challenges.” The competencies identified in the book, according to the authors, separate true leaders from merely effective managers. Jan and her team were highlighted in this book.

Janice is the President, Secretary and Treasurer of The Empyrean Group LLC.

Sandy Jain
Sandy is a principal partner of The Empyrean Group LLC. She has significant experience in strategic planning, office management and administrative functions. She has been a Vice- President of Empyrean Services LLC, an executive management and consulting company based in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. Since the formation of Empyrean Services LLC in mid 2000, she has overseen its activities to aid in continued profitability of the company. Sandy has previously worked for law firms and electric utilities providing office support functions. She has an Associates Degree in Applied Business.

Sandy is a Managing Partner of The Empyrean Group LLC.
