Pittsburgh 100 - Local firms growing strong.

Nearly 300 guests gathered for the Pittsburgh Business Times Pittsburgh 100 awards reception held Thursday, Aug. 21, at the Duquesne Club.  The evening began with an awards ceremony, which recognized the 100 fastest-growing privately owned companies in western Pennsylvania.  At the top of the list was Empyrean Services LLC who received a special trophy honoring its 784 percent revenue growth from 2005 to 2007.  Not far behind at #9 was The Empyrean Group LLC.
