The Empyrean Group Management Team comprises of
three principals. These principals collectively bring over 70 years of
progressive operating experience to the Company including 35 years at the
executive level. This experience also includes the successful launching of a
new business from start-up to quick profitability. In addition to its
technical expertise, the management team brings extensive human resources
experience including performance enhancement, cultural transformation,
process improvement, staffing and recruitment, benefits administration,
labor negotiations and all other aspects of human resources management.
The skills and competencies of the team bring credibility to the Company,
provide leadership to employees, and ensure success in building business
partnerships with clients.
The following are brief executive overviews of each principal:
Janice V. McGee, SPHR, GPHR
President
Jan McGee has over 30 years of management and
executive-level leadership experience within security, human resources and
operations management. She is highly skilled at leading technical areas of
business. She is a seasoned human resources executive with 20 years
experience including corporate investigative and security, nuclear security,
workers’ compensation case management, benefits administration, benefits
call center oversight, HRIS, employee relations, recruitment, leadership
development, and compensation/incentive programs. In addition, she has 20
years experience in labor relations including the leadership role in
contract negotiations.
Ms. McGee also has 12 years experience in operations including being
distinguished as one of the first women in the United States to become a
power plant manager, running the entire day-to-day operations of the largest
(600 MW) coal-fired power plant in the utility’s fleet.
Jan holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from
Robert Morris University, a Master of Arts Degree in Industrial Labor
Relations from St. Francis University, and she is a graduate of the
University of Pittsburgh Management Program for Executives. She also holds
a Senior Professional Human Resources Certification (SPHR) and a Global Professional Human Resource Certificate (GPHR) from the Society
of Human Resources Management.
Sandhya Jain
Chief Executive Officer
Sandhya Jain has significant experience in strategic
planning, office management and administrative functions. From mid- 2000 through 2003, she was Vice-President of Empyrean Services LLC, an executive management and consulting company based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. At Empyrean Services, she was responsible for overseeing financial management and associated functions to aid in continued profitability of the Company. Sandhya has previous experience
working for numerous law firms and utility companies providing extensive
support functions. She has a degree in Applied Business.
